Hey there – welcome to Affordable Disney Vacation Packages!
My name is Clare, and I’ve been an avid Disney World fan since I was a kid. I’ve been lucky enough to vacation in Disney World more times than I care to remember, and over recent years have spent many an hour trawling the Internet for secrets to save time and money on my vacation.
During our 2007 trip my husband and I spent a maximum of 20 minutes waiting in lines for our favourite rides and attractions – and we found ourselves watching many families standing in lines with more than 60 minute wait times, looking tired and cranky. When we got home I set up this website to share the secrets I’ve learnt with other families.
Congratulations – you’re going to Disney World!
I’m assuming since you’ve arrived here at my site today that you are planning a vacation to Walt Disney World, Florida. Believe me, you’re going to have a great time!
A Disney World vacation isn’t like any other – which means to get the most out of it you’re going to have to do a little research and some planning. Just to put things into perspective the Walt Disney World Resort is twice the size of Manhattan Island and there is so much to do that you can’t even get through it all in a two-week vacation.
Aside from the four theme parks and the two water parks you’ll also find all kinds of shopping and entertainment. Here at Affordable Disney Vacation Packages we’ll help you plan your trip.
Here are some things that you’ll need to think about…
The best time to visit Disney World
Personally we like to travel when the weather is moderate and the crowd levels are low. For us the best time to visit Disney is November. But not every one can choose the time of year to travel – we all have work and family commitments that have to come first.
Disney also has some special events that you might like to see – Epcot Flower and Garden Festival (April/May), Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival (October/November) and Holidays Around the World (December).
The best place to stay in Disney World
There are more than 25 Disney Resorts to suit all tastes and budgets and they offer special perks such as Extra Magic Hours and free transportation. If you would rather stay in the local area then there are even more hotels to choose from – so you are sure to find something to suit your budget.
The most appropriate Disney tickets
There are a wide number of Disney tickets to choose from – from one day passes to park hopper passes and annual passes. You’ll need a ticket to get into each of the theme parks as well as the water parks so you’ll need to understand which Disney ticket is right for you.
Tips and secrets to maximise your Disney fun
The best way to get the most out of your disney vacation is to plan your activities, find out ahead of times which rides and attractions you want to experience, which restaurants you want to eat in and which shops you want to see. Plan your time ahead of your vacation and you’ll have even more fun when you get to Disney World.
