One of the most popular questions over at the DisBoards is:

Which is closely followed by:
Why does everyone wear Crocs at Walt Disney World?
The answer to the second questions is actually the answer to the first; the most comfortable footwear to wear when spending a day at any of the parks is a pair of Crocs – the real ones – and judging by the number of pairs you see out there I’m not alone in this opinion.
When touring the parks you will spend many an hour on your feet and can walk upwards of 5 miles in a day – so comfortable footwear is crucial – there is nothing worse than blisters and aching feet to ruin a magical day!
I was always a big fan of my trainers but found my feet got hot bothered – then I discovered Crocs and I haven’t looked back. I even convinced my husband to wear a pair on our last trip and he openly admitted to another Disney Guest that while he would never be seen dead in a pair in the ‘real world’ they were the most comfortable shoes to wear to Disney.
So what should you keep in mind when choosing a pair of Crocs for your trip?
You must get the right fit
This is the most important bit – so this comes straight from the Crocs’ mouth – so to speak:
Crocs™ should not fit like other shoes:
They should fit very loosely.
The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe.
Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe.
Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed:
You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel.
In other words the fit should be “loose”.
I know that this goes against everything that you have ever been used to in a shoe, but these are the parameters that the shoe was designed to be worn under.
No Pressure points Ever!
To ensure that the strap is not pulling your foot into the front of the shoe, rotate the strap forward and determine if your foot rests comfortably in the foot bed and there is room all around your foot. If so, you have the proper size but the strap is too short. To alleviate this issue, work your fingers around the strap and stretch it as you go around being careful not to put excessive pressure on the rivet hole. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the back edge of the shoe. The resin material has memory and will stay at the proper length after one or two of these types of adjustments.
Follow these simple instructions and you’ll have yourself a pair of shoes so comfortable you’ll think you forgot to take your slippers off.
Wear them in ahead of your trip
If you have selected the correct size then you shouldn’t find yourself with blisters. However it’s better to be safe than sorry. Crocs mold to your feet the more you wear them so try and walk yours in before you head out to Disney World – they do also take some getting used to being so different to ‘normal’ shoes.
That said I always buy mine in Orlando and wear them straight to the parks and have never had a problem (I refuse to pay UK prices when they’re practically half price in the States!).

Choose the style that suits you best
Personally I wear the Beach style and find them really comfortable. There are however a multitude of styles and colours to choose from.

From a distance, Crocs look rigid. I was at the Palace at Versailles this summer and saw a whole family decked out in what looked like super sturdy (and brightly colored) clogs. I thought they were European. As we were standing in line, I asked the Mom where they bought the colorful shoes and she replied she had purchased the lot on Amazon. She was also from the States as I came to find out. At that point she removed one and let me have a closer look.
Upon arrival home, I obtained a pair and haven't taken them off since. They are SOOOOO comfy... like wearing slippers... you can't beat the variety of colors and the price is just right. While they are not the most flattering shoe one the foot, they do tend to make ones ankles look nice and skinny. Enjoy!!!

for comfort that's for sure! It feels as many have stated, like walking on marshmellows. And the open design keep your feet cool. I got them on a very hot day and it felt soooo good to feel a cool wind on my toes with "shoes" on.
Extremely lightweight as well. Feels like an ounce! The only drawback is they're not too dressy and they do not look too great with nicer outfits. Defo a casual shoe to loaf around in....

Crocs are the best! I wear my navy blue Crocs everywhere; they look great with bootcut jeans. They are cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with a pair of nice wooly socks. After a year and a half, they show almost no signs of wear.
I gave them the ultimate test: a day at the Los Angeles County Fair. Must have walked 5 miles in them. Saw lots of other folks wearing Crocs--I always give them a nod & a smile. They are catching on big time. Beware of imitations! Nowhere near as comfy.

I love my Crocs, they are so comfortable and light, it feels like you are walking on a marshmallow. My 9 year old son starting wearing these last April, it is November and colder but he still will not wear anything else. He swears that nothing else feels so good. I am buying him another pair due to his growth but the others look like new, they have held up well. They are very light, so light they feel like air and you may mistake them for being flimsy but they are tough. When they are dirty you can hose them off, wipe them with a rag and they look new again. They do not tear or scrape, and they leave no marks on the floor. They have a strap that you can tilt forward like a clog, or slip behind your heel for a more secure fit. There are knock off brands that copy the look but not the feel as the others are heavy rubber, and not comfortable at all. With crocs you can stand on them all day, and they breathe unlike rubber. The nurses really were the first folks to flock to these, since they are on their feet all day they really watch out for comfort first. But these are great at the pool, the beach, wherever, and they are so cheap and come in so many colors you can afford to have a few. Also try Keens Newport H2 sandals.

These have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They're like walking on foam rubber. These are great year round shoes where I live. They make being on my feet a pleasure.
From Colorado to California - Crocs are the best

I have been wearing Crocs for two years and I love them. They are easy to slip on to use for a quick errand and easy to clean after a messy muddy job in the garden. I have even thrown them in the washing machine with clothes for a quick cleaning.
They are comfortable and I often wear them in the house just for the support (we generally do not wear shoes in the house). I have a problem with my feet and need support and these are a great casual shoe. They may seem a bit pricey for "plastic shoes" but mine are "well used" and still look and feel great!
When we moved from Colorado to California nobody knew what they were and I still wore them despite the way they stuck out in a crowd (they were orange so that didn't help). I finally found some at a Hallmark store of all things! I bought a pair of black ones so they wouldn't stick out so much. My teenage son and pre-school daughter love them too. I'm glad they are finally becoming more readily available in more colors.

i wear size 15 EEEE men's shoes and found the Croc's size XXX Large M14-15 to be a good fit. They are not loose enough to just slide on but are comfortable for me when worn with the strap in place. They have good room in the toe area which is important to me.

I wear the size small with socks. I have it in a few colors now. It feels like a cloud. I actually choose it to wear at home intead of my slippers because they are more comfortable and comforting. Corrdinate them with clothes and wear matching socks and they are less conspicious. They are really great because they feel like a cloud. The soles are non skid so they feel really safe. I am not a vegan, but know that vegans struggle with non leather choices and think now the finally have something that works for them that feels good.
I hear men choose black or brown to wear with Kackis. I think these are a great breakthru. If your feet hurt like mine you will love these. If you are lucky and you can wear high fashion shoes you are lucky. If you hurt this could open a world of comfort to you. Try the differnt models and styles because they fit differently. This size did not fit my mom and like I said the cayman looks similar but does not fit me.
I looked on the crocs official web site and the have higher fashion ones in additon a RX line that is a medical line. I am going to try some of the dress crocs and see.
Oh I reviewed some microfiber chenille socks and that is what I like to wear with my crocs. Crocs makes their own socks but they say cros all over them and I do not like logos.

I love my Crocs. I have two colors and want more. I wear them as slippers, sandals, shoes...allll the time! I think they look great with almost all casual wear. They are so comfy and don't make your feet smell like you might think. They can be tossed in the wash if they get dirty and they come out like new. I find myself not wanting to wear any other shoe.
